Preparation of wool
At the beginning of spring, the wool needed by Farsh Farhan Group is gathered from sheep in the Zagros mountains.
The sheep raised in the mountains of Zagros produce better wool than the sheep in the low and humid areas. Also, the wools harvested in the spring season have better quality than the autumn wools. White wools have better dyeability than other wools, so they are more desirable for Farahan carpets.
This wool has the highest quality of available wools, and after sorting, they are completely washed with natural detergents and prepared for spinning by hand.
spinning wool
The prepared wool is transported to the nomadic areas of Fars province to be harvested by the zealous women of this region. Without respect and sensitivity to the beautiful customs of these people, who are in full interaction with nature, it is not possible to establish long-term business relations with them.
Wool spinning is a process in which small carpet fibers are interwoven and continuous fibers are produced. This technique has been used by humans for thousands of years to produce wool fibers.
The reason for the importance of hand-spun wool in the hand-woven carpet industry is that when the wool is spun by hand, the fibers produced are thin in some places and thick in some places, which causes some places to be more colorful during dyeing due to the low thickness. become more pale, this spectrum of color in a bunch of fibers that eventually becomes a carpet makes the final carpet look very natural and completely made by the hand of the carpet weaver.
dyeing
The dyeing of the wool woven by the powerful hands of the nomadic women is done with colors from the heart of nature so that the produced cream is a lasting effect that is friendly to nature and people.
Natural dyes are a group of dyes with high and medium stability that have vegetable and animal roots and play an effective role in traditional dyeing. Runas, spray, indigo, chamomile flower, Asgari grape leaf, beetroot, onion skin, mulberry tree leaf, Vesmeh, color flower, parsley flower, fig leaf, pomegranate peel, oak, walnut skin, Halila, sumac, saffron, milk jar and etc. are among the plants found in Iran and their dyes have been used in dyeing.
One of the distinctive features of natural colors is that they do not fade. Wool dyed with bright red or indigo blue is less dyed. Another thing about natural colors is that due to the naturalness of these colors and their molecular structure, secondary colors can be easily prepared from the combination of the main colors, while this possibility is due to the molecular structure. There is no difference in artificial colors.
If the three main colors are colored by natural dyeing, if they are placed together, they have a harmonic order that the sharp output of artificial colors will never appear like that.
There are convincing reasons for this difference in judging the combination of blue, red and yellow. If we look at the bright red in the sunlight, in addition to “red”, the color “yellow” and with less intensity even “blue” comes to mind. It can be said that sunlight emits not only red, but also yellow and blue colors from Runas Red.

carpet texture
According to the dimensions of the carpet and the weaving technique, the threads of the carpet are pulled on the carpet. The cream required for the carpet is prepared and dyed based on the final carpet plan.
The professional carpet weavers in Farahan Carpet Group have the ability to weave carpets based on all the weaving techniques that are introduced below. The quality control system of Fersh Farahan Group monitors the conformity of the plan, design and color of the porcelain in all stages of weaving.
Final service
After finishing cutting the carpet texture, the surface of the carpet is paid according to the customer’s request, and then the carpet is washed with natural detergents. This step is done from two to several times. The purpose of this process is to firstly clean the carpet from dust and fine fibers that remained in the carpet during production, and the secondary purpose is to prepare the carpet for a change in the color of the carpet, so that in order to stabilize the color and soften the washed carpets, they are The open environment spreads on the ground and against the sunlight.
Sunlight causes changes in the chemical structure of plant pigments on the fibers, and finally the carpet that passes through this stage will have vivid and completely natural colors. Laying the carpet in sunlight for at least 48 hours and sometimes up to a week is possible. It will take a long time. This process is finally such that if you look at the fibers from different angles, very beautiful colors can be seen behind it.
After this step, the final carpet check is done. At this stage, all the different parts of the carpet are completely reviewed in several stages so that even the smallest quality defects can be fixed with the help of experts.
